My hope is that they would reach the desired internal temperature at about the same time; but, that may not be reality. So, my plan is to separate them, put the probe into the flat (because it&#039;s thinner and I would expect it to get to temperature faster than the point), and watch the temperature. Then I would place the probe into the point and continue cooking as needed.]]></description>
